WotaSHOT was created to provide a mechanism for action sports photographers to sell their images.  More importantly however, it was formed to provide everyone with the opportunity to find an image of themselves, their friend or their family in the action.  WotaSHOT creates the essential link between the photographer and the subject of the image.

WotaSHOT is proudly Australian owned and run, and was developed and launched in 2007 by Wotashot Group Pty Ltd.  The directors, Richard, Phil and Marcio formulated the WotaSHOT concept whilst on a surfing trip in Indonesia. 
"Despite our passions for surfing, kiteboarding, snowboarding and skateboarding, we each had a remarkable lack of images of ourselves in the action.  We did however have a stack of images of other people we did not know and never would."
From here the concept grew!
